Jah Pierce

Elder J. "Jah Pierce" Dennis - Servant=Preacher & Gospel Artist

Jamil “Jah Pierce” Dennis was born in Manhattan, KS
but moved to New York when he was 5 (he still has a
small country music singer inside of him somewhere). He
sang "I just called to say I love you" by Stevie Wonder over
and over as a child. At that time he didn’t know it was rehearsal
for where he is now. Pierce has faced many decisions in the
past to find himself and get to this point. He said "I haven’t experienced
true joy or happiness until I started living in Christ and singing
Gospel music from my heart.” He told a associate "I'm finally
enjoying this thing."
As a teen and young adult, Dennis has been part of multiple music groups.
One of those being Tri-suhen (try-something). He was offered a record deal after Crazy Sam saw him perform at a talent show in high school, but Dennis - 13 years old at the time - quickly turned it down because the deal did not include the entire group. It was later that he
realized his true calling. Before his endeavor into Gospel Music he recorded a song with one of 50 Cents artists (Mazarati Fox (R.I.P.) and Cool G Rap, but God didn't allow him to make it to the video shoot, thank God. He said "Everyone was pulling off in porches, Benz' and Maserati's and there I
was in my Buick Rendezvous :o) looking like The little engine
that couldn't." At the time it seemed like the worst thing that could
happen. Now he realizes it was all part of God's perfect plan. On
another occasion, in the Manhattan, NY, Jah Pierce and
one of his former Group members, Mello, where heading home
to Queens. They drove past the Broadway theater and saw a crowd.
Mello told JP "Usher is there tonight"and JP said pull over immediately
(still driving that rendezvous). He hops out and tells USHER to his face,
in front of the crowd, "I'm coming for your spot!" and Usher quickly
replied "You got along way to go" and walked away swiftly (pretty good
come back). From auditions for Mariah Carey video's to, break-dancing on NYC trains, to preaching on pulpits it has been some journey for JP.
He says “God protected me from getting permanently drawn into that side of the music industry, and ever since then my mind &
music has gone to a different place....Christ”
Now a devoted Christian, Dennis has been singing gospel for over
ten years, ministers at local churches is now traveling to other states.
Aside from singing, writing, and making music, Dennis is a
gymnastics coach at the Cross Island YMCA. He teaches hip hop dance
there as well, and children are large part of his ministry. He considers them when writing songs.
He received his Degree in Business Administration
& Management from Medgar Evers College, his BS in Pastoral & Theological Studies at Nyack College, and studied for his Masters in Divinity at Nyack Alliance Theological Seminary in Manhattan, NY.
In 2013 his faith lead him to start  JUSTHIS Christian MINISTRIES, INC.
a non-profit organization that serves the God by serving the community in Music, Sports, Clothing, Food distribution, counseling, and much more (more information available
          Pierce's Album
last album release concert promoted his softmore project Paper Heart. It is his second official album release. His first Album was "Resurrected & Born again (R&B)" His music can be found on iTunes,, etc. The upcoming album is entitled" Mountains & Valleys" and presently has multiple pending collaborations. He says the album will be for people all around the world. The title Mountains Valley ties into the ups and downs of the Christian experience that will expressed on this album.
He is also contemplating another CD called Exsphereince in which he'll sing about some personal experience. The word Exspherience is a combination of the words experience & sphere (globe). It stems from the idea of sharing the worldwide Christian experience.
Some of Dennis’ inspiration comes from his step-daughter and son, who follow in their parents (now separated) footsteps, dancing, rapping, drawing, writing, etc.. His mother, a teacher, who raised him as a single parent. “They are a huge part of the reason I press to be a better person,” he said.
Dennis‘ goal is to enlighten all generations and lead
the one who saved his life.“I want to help people of all ages to make the right/Christ choices in life,” he said.

Jah Pierce would like to leave you with a scripture that God gave him

early in his "Walk with God."

1 Corinthians 12 21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t

need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need

you!” 22 On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem

to be weaker are indispensable, 23 and the parts that we

think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And

the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special

modesty, 24 while our presentable parts need no special

treatment. But God has put the body together, giving

greater honor to the parts that lacked it, 25 so that there

should be no division in the body, but that its parts should

have equal concern for each other. 26 If one part suffers,

every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every

part rejoices with it.

I am a witness that the Lord can deliver us from any

addiction. The blood of Jesus delivered us from sin.

Through Jesus we've recieved salvation. Now matter

how low you've gome Jesus can lift you up.

Liana of Musiqstry - Singer

Liana Roldan was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad and moved to New York in 1996. Growing up in a Catholic household, Liana was in the church choir at the age of 8. Liana went on to participate in her school choirs, in both elementary and high school competing in music festivals. At age 9 she wrote her own soca song called (Play Music) for her school competition and won first prize. At age 16, Liana started worshipping in christian church and has continued ever since. Liana has always loved singing, and had the privilege to join a church worship team as a lead singer in 2006, where she met male lead singer Jah Pierce, known to her as Bro J. "We became friends and brother J had told me of his desire to start a music group. I loved music and to me it was a great honor to minister to people through music and Bro J gave me that opportunity. So we formed a group with couple other brothers and sisters, but ended up with 3 sisters, me, Sis Tonya, Sis Nicky and Bro J forming Musiqstry, which means Music and Ministry." "My life and heart desire is to fulfill the word of God and to continue to follow in his path. I love praising God through my singing and worshiping. (I will give You thanks with all my heart, I will sing your praise before the heavenly beings) Psalms 38 verse 1." Liana continues to dedicate her life to God, her family and her music. "I love the lord and it is important to me, to bring my kids, Liam 16, Ethan 12 and Joseph 1, up knowing the Lord and knowing that through him all things are possible. It makes me proud that my kids love to pray and they acknowledge that through prayer, God will hear you and open doors in your life. I am married to a strong man of God, who loves the Lord and despite his rough up bringing has always leaned on God and never blamed God for the wrongs in his pass, but trusted God to make things better. It is so important to be surrounded with other brothers and sisters who love the Lord and I am grateful for my family and friends." "Moving forward and worshipping God through music is a blessing and I am very happy and proud to be part of Musiqstry."
